Malaysia Wins the Bid for Contender Asia Season Two
Malaysia won the bid for Season Two of Contender Asia, the most talked about reality series in the world. It was a very tough decision, as Singapore, Thailand, Macau were also bidding, but Malaysia got the thumbs up to be the host country for Contender Asia Season Two.
Season One was a major hit around the world with over 400 million people watching it and falling in love with the sport week by week, joining the journey of 16 outstanding athletes. In a special press conference in Korea, the World Muaythai Council (WMC), the sanctioning body for Contender Asia, the Executive Producer of Contender Asia, the General Secretary of the WMC and the host and mentor announced Malaysia to the world.
There were representatives from over 70 countries who joined the press conference to congratulate Malaysia on its win. The appointed Representative of the Malaysian Muaythai Team and Osys Group Malaysia managing director, who was also in attendance, announced that Season Two will be showcasing Malaysia in a way the world has never seen before. The Contender Asia fever is spreading around the world and the world is eagerly looking at Malaysia to see what they have to offer.
