He needs no introduction in the Korean sporting world as he has dedicated his life to the development of sport in Korea. Starting off with Judo at a very young age, he has graduated from the famous Korea Judo Academy. He has been one of the driving forces behind Judo in Korea and to his credit has achieved an impressive 9th Dan, one of the highest ranks possible within the sport. From there, many years ago he found another Martial Art that captured his heart, that sport was MUAYTHAI.
His love and dedication to the sport has pushed him to become one of the driving forces behind MUAYTHAI in Korea. Along with his passion for the sport of MUAYTHAI he has kept himself very busy holding many positions within the Korean government and Olympic movement for the betterment of the sport in Korea. Muaythai has been included in the World Sport For All Games under the patronage of the IOC and Busan, Korea is the host city for the Games. The Korean Muaythai Association with no doubt will put on a show for the world.
