The President of the International Federation of Muaythai Amateur and General Secretary of the WMC, Dr Sakchye Tapsuwan, and the General Secretary of IFMA, Stephan Fox, met with Mr Wang Xiaolin, the Secretary General of the International Wushu Federation and also Mr Patrick Van. Campenhout, Treasurer of The Interational Wushu Federation, to solidify the friendship of the two Martial Arts.

In the past many great events have been held in China and the Wushu Federation has always been a great friend to Muaythai. The next major event is in planning for August, where some of the best Muaythai superstars, such as Wayne Parr, Ole Larson, Wanlop Sitpholek and Soren Monkongton, just to name a few, will show real Muaythai to China.

We are also delighted that The International Wushu Federation, which has a large following around the world, has accepted our invitation to honour IFMA with their presence at the IFMA World Championships and his Majesty the King of Thailand’s birthday celebrations.
